I'm looking to buy some decent lights to get out and do some night riding over the winter.
I haven't got a fortune to spend but do want something that will last and has a decent battery life.
Spotted these on offer for £89 in MBUK.... http://tumbleandfall.co.uk/collections/ ... ts/pro900l

Really tempted to go for them but just wanted to see if any of the good people on here had any experience with them first??

They;re the same lights as the Deal Extreme (from Hong Hong) P7 magicShine 900 lumen bike lights

Only they're a fair bit cheaper from DX, although you may have to wait a few weeks to get them

Great lights well worth the money for £60(ish) off DX they're untouchable value for money

off to hunt out the DX lights linky...

I bought one of the older models last year and it is still going strong, the only thing I did was fitted the battery into an old water bottle to keep it waterproof, as there were some issues with first ones, believe the newer ones come with a waterproof cover for the battery.

I didnt get hit with any import duty.

If you are not wanting to spend big money for a light you wont go wrong with one of these, I am going to order another one 8)

the original ones had a battery indicator of sorts - a green led on the back of the light unit that went red when there was about 30 mins letf. perfectly good.
