Anyone seen an M6 brake stud?

So I'm working on a project that has aluminium rear stays and it looks like someone in the past has made a modification and bonded/welded in a 6mm nut inside the stay. At least that's what it looks like.

I've wound in a 6mm standard bolt so I know the size but I cannot for the life of me find a brake boss/stud in that size. Has anyone come across one before? They're almost always 8mm.

Legend, I just remembered I had an old pair of Rock Shox forks in the garage. Just removed one of the studs and low and behold it's a 6mm thread. Many thanks

Result , sorted without leaving the shed!
