Really? I can't imagine a 7 is better than 8, but you might be right.
I've not driven either of them, but my mate races cars and said the 8 was one of the easiest standard road cars to drive very quickly that he had ever driven

7 always better than the 8 especially the limted edition Jap imports with bhp in the high 200s

Rotor tip wear a problem on the Wankel engine though...IIRC the RX7 engine requires 'rebuilding' under 100k
