Don't forget that Merlin Metalworks is only one of many 'Merlins' who made bikes and was certainly not the first. Just because a bike is not a Merlin Metalwork bike doesn't mean it's not a Merlin

It looks like a bit of a turd but those frames are pretty good spec and tough as old boots.

Always came out of group tests really well as I recall, fantastic value and very good, underrated, sort of British frames

Yes, always got a very good review. Completely unconnected but Merlin used to advertise over several pages every month in most bike mags!
