Anyone know what these are for?? Simplex brackets....

Found in a box at my Dad's, are they bicycle related or something to do with Simplex brakes? Moped?? :?

they are chain ring adapters for attaching a 3 arm crank to the chain ring.....popular in the 1950's

Thanks guys, that's really helpful, I'm just trying to find out if Dad still has any chainrings, as there were definitely some like that about at one point! :facepalm:
