The Sony one I've got is great if you get a signal Steve, much better then FM in the car. Also get AM stations like talksport on DAB and they're ten times better. Just wish I could get a signal but never mind 'cos it works the same as a normal radio as well so best of both worlds.

I'd go for it if you can find one that meets your requirements.

Thanks all. Advice appreciated and now the DAB is in hold for a few years ..... now then!

As my player must be replaced, I'm looking for an FM tuner with USB rear input (trailing lead) for my memory stick full of mp3, possibly a single CD player in there as well and at least one pre-out RSA for my 'yet to be fitted' sub.

Not fussed about RMS power, as it won't be loud, but standard two socket ISO(?) fittings and standard size would be a must. Don't need a pop-up screen or a bust display but a facility to change and/or dim the display would be nice

Too many out there to buy without a recommendation.
