Anyone know about a Campagnolo Velox derailleur?

Just found this derailleur in my shed - looks brand new and is even in its box. No memory of where I got it ( old age!). Looks ok-ish quality. Does anyone know anything about it? I'm thinking it might look good on an old Carlton frame I've got.

Ok it looks like a lower end early 70's thing according to velobase....might try it out

Velox took over in the early 70's from the valentino IIRC as the low end steel Campag model using a funny scissor type sideways action..........would look period on an early 70's Carlton.

Changed OK as did the Simplex and Huret of the same generation........
