I am trying to get better at working with wood, but my default tends to be metalwork/engineering.
Have an old upright piano project for this winter. It's lovely thing and been in the family forever, but nobody wants it as they have all moved on to modern keyboards. You can't give these things away and it pains me to smash it up, so I am going to have a go at turning it in to a Bureau/workstation thing.

Give it a go. I've recycled so many things over the years.
This is not one of my finest pieces of work, just a dining table made from the doors that had been used to board our loft when we moved in. Hence the keyholes in places.
