Nice bit of parquet flooring. We’ve got the same pattern in our living room. Was a mid century homage back when this photo was taken but now just mostly covered in Lego and kids toys It turns out 1970’s leather sofa is quite robust despite kids jumping up and down off them thankfully.View attachment 1017443

Thank you. They are a few of the things I've made over the years.
There's not much classic stuff i really want to own, but if I ever saw and could ever afford an original bit of László Moholy-Nagy's painted furniture i would buy it.

Excellent.
I am trying to get better at working with wood, but my default tends to be metalwork/engineering.
Have an old upright piano project for this winter. It's lovely thing and been in the family forever, but nobody wants it as they have all moved on to modern keyboards. You can't give these things away and it pains me to smash it up, so I am going to have a go at turning it in to a Bureau/workstation thing.

I have resisted a living area picture because of the "lived in" quality

At least the bedroom is moderately clean, only a few Hotwheels, and all the Lego is of the grown up variety
