Anyone into classic furniture

We have sold with them twice, I wouldn't buy from them though!

To connect the thread to the community I bought the below sideboard (White and Newton) from @pete_mcc and later sold it on to @27motorhead as it didn't fit in our new house (sad face). I bought a lovely lamp to go in it's place though.

Didn't realise I'm the third owner of this lovely sideboard on RetroBike! It's a lovely item and holds a ton of stuff AND looks amazing. Once we get our house stuff out of storage I'll take some pics. Some of you people have amazing items!!! 😍

This is my view from where I am sat currently. I love glass, I do make stained glass for fun but not these two pieces. One was from the entrance of a glassworks, the other from a 60s house that got demoed for flats. I built the light boxes and had to do some repairs on the one on the left as it had sat face down in a warehouse for 30 years but it’s an amazing panel (excuse the stuffed otters)

This was out first piece, given to us by her aunt and uncle 20251112_185816~2.webp
R. S. Associates teak Martini coffee table, made in Montreal. Things got pretty wild for the table during college, legs were painted textured purple, the top painted gloss black with a 12" skateboard sticker on in it. Eventually, good taste returned to us, and thankfully it cleaned up somewhat nicely. Later added a matching side table. 20251112_185750~2.webp 20251112_185713~2.webp
The zebra chair was purchased on our wedding day.
Passed on the opportunity to buy the lazy Susan Martini bar years ago, been regretting it ever since. They're thousands of dollars for one now, will never happen images (9).webp images (8).webp

I do like a good lamp, this one is about the only one tall enough for our sitting room. It was a 60s Hungarian army ‘portable’ operating theatre lamp. I reworked it, converted to led and painted it Yeti desert turquoise. Chair is a Stokke peel chair in London transport moquette, table is a 1990s habitat cast iron one

Cats bed is a Verner Panton Peacock Chair. Never meant it to happen but how can I say no now…

Very cool repurposing of the lamp! 💪 😍💡💡💡💡

Here’s a piece of Richard Hornby Aformosia furniture. I have far too many in the house. Phone is a Belgian telecom phone I rewired to work on digital networks, sculpture is a Henry Moore, catalogued and authenticated by the Henry Moore foundation, found in a flea market!
