Anyone heard of Risigo?

Old School Hero
I went to see a couple of bikes (one MTB/hybrid, one road developed) and a separate frame and components today, which were made following scientific evaluation of a more efficient method of powering a cycle frame.

Apparently their development was curtailed as they were effectively banned for competition purposes, but what fabulous bits of retro-bikeanalia, additionally clad with XT and XTR.

Here is a GIF of a frame being ridden (just found on the web) - quite an interesting experience, I found today. http://makeagif.com/2tblHX

Does beg the question that it might be sad that they get bought largely for their kit alone, and split up. Is there not a museum collection somewhere that would buy and preserve them all for posterity? Or someone who would keep them together?
Here is one of the ads, but if you message me I can send you some more pics direct and forward an email address:

They come up every now and again on things like the shopping channel and low budget catalogues.
Along with lots of other "odd" ideas. Like pedalling with the handlebars, or that stupid prone bike.

Development was curtailed as they were fairly rubbish.
