Anyone heard of Bontempi bikes?

I got this frame/fork free when buying a GT frame/fork.
Never seen one before, can not turn up any info online either, a real puzzler?
Anyone?

Picked up a Shimano CSHG20 7speed (12-2, £9 from Halfords! Not sure this will prove to be quality or "quaty".

Are you keeping the frame as is or will you repaint it?

I think because of the obscurity I will keep it as is, it is from the same Neon era as Marin etc.
Not too sure about how it will turn out, paint in pretty good condition, no point in repainting

Bontempi was marketed by Craig Adair cycles in christchurch nz back in the early 90's and I think it was their own brand.

Where are some christchurch guys?.. Robyn ??

Build it up and it should ride pretty well. Pm me if you need some bits. I may have a spare wheel set too for sale
