Hey, very quick question, has anyone heard of an mbk baroudeur as there is one I can pick up pretty cheap and it looks kinda cool. Just wondered if anyone knows of them? Cheers Rob

Its a low end French jobbie, which makes it a bit cooler than low end jobbies from other nations.

Here's a wonderfully translated description from an MBK catalogue entry:

BAROUDEUR, or how to initiate the road without breaking the bank. MTB oversized frame tubes, fork Kingdom Crown glazed, double crankset with square shank, shift knobs by Ratchette ratchet the handlebars, brakes Cantilever dural

The Tonton Velo site is best for info on MBKs.

Yeah, that's the one although it's just a rolling frame, no gears and it's in a scrap yard! Haha

Thanks for the reply.

Looks like an identified frame to my dads MBK Ranger.
The frame is very heavy, heavier than my pimped Activator 2 and has a very short top tube.

Cool, will do. just it looked retro and thought it might have been worth picking up, what kind of age are they, early 90's?
