Anyone ever seen exage country or trail thumbies in 7s?

Re:

Trail or country in 7s? We all know that 7s landed in 89 on mtn lx, deore and xt, thought that country and trial were gone in 90 when replaced by 300 and 400lx which were 7s did they update country and trail to 7s and run it longer?

I dont know, I had 200GS thumbies too, they were 7s but that was definitely 30 years ago!

Catalogues list it all as 6s

I would argue that these were an unlisted alternative to 300LX

I have 7sp 200GS thumbies, lovely thing. Believe it is 1990, with 6sp being SL-M200, 7sp SL-M201, being offered same year. Here is the catalog page: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/v/M ... 9.JPG.html

No idea about those Exage parts. Anyway, there is usually some "not that promoted" version

Re:

Not mentioned as 7speed in either of the 89 catalogues.
Because they came from 1990 group an hung around for a few years, you could buy the shifter not connected.
You'll find it under the 300LX groupset.
Probably had a load of use able
BL-M250 hanging around and these are classed as Exage Country and technically separate parts.

I can grab you more info in you want, it's in the catalogues.

That’s great, it’s not for me a question on a Facebook group.
