Anyone ever fitted an air shock to a noleen/girvin fork ??

Grab your wallet, they ain't cheap. I saw a modded one on here using a fox shock a while back.

I don't see why one couldn't be fitted to the Girvin forks, they just use a bolt through top & bottom, so a case of finding a shock of the right length & stroke length I would think?
The rear sus on Proflex use a different mount though, so you would need an adapter making for that.

But for the front I say go for it! as the Risse shocks (and even replacement Noleen shocks) are pretty expensive for what they are imo.

I did this mate.

If you search you will see the thread when i did this, but alas I dont have the images anymore.

I used a 165 mm eye to eye fox float R, and had to modify a piece of billet aluminium into an upside down Y shape.
It was a ball ache but a great sense of achievement.
Never rode it and sold it shortly afterwards.

Ill keep looking for you, Mike

Risse Genesis on mine matey, works a treat!
