Anyone ever been satisfied with Cantilever brakes ?

If a bike has a noodle, I will use cantilever. Sure, vees have more power, but the improvement is a nicety, not a necessity

Yes, widow and I are professional cantilever installation operators and we still prefer v brakes.

I am so naive and ignorant. I had no idea that this was a thing to fight over. If you want to win races, go with newest, modern tech. If you want to have fun or enjoy some nostalgia from your youth, use the fun toys from your youth. I have U-brakes, cantilevers, V-brakes, cable pull disc brakes, and hydraulic disc brakes all sitting side by side in my garage and none of them have ever started a fight with another set of brakes.
