Anyone else just ridden the Isle of Man End2End race?

How was it for you?

Retrobike (ish) featured in the pamphlet given to all E2E riders.

Last year I rode my Orange MrXC - and this pic was used in this years briefing notes.

I did it, on my 2001 Zaskar Race... Usual dramas (punctures, cramp, odd crash here and there, 29ers getting in the way!), but finished in 05:00:26.

Good effort - especially with that headwind!

I managed 5:37 with a slow puncture and a slipped disc aparently. Wondered why I couldn't do me shoes up before the race!

I really enjoyed it this year - the trail conditions were better, the weather was more "threatening" riding through the cloud an all that kinda stuff.
