Any vapers on here, slight liquid in mouth with new Tank.

Got a new tank today all brand new and sealed from a local vape shop.

Have had various tanks and mods over the years but did have a TFV-Mini V2 tank just now and now have a TFV18 tank, both are Smok.
Have tried both coils and they are the meshed coils.

Using the same liquid as have done for years.

Was thinking maybe that's normal until they wear in a bit.
When I have some I get taste in my mouth.
Slightly liquid and feel like I want to spit.

Did you let the liquid sit in it for at least 30 mins once you'd first filled it ?

I presume the new tank had a new coil in it from the off ?

Yes, I always do that and then use it on a lower power for a little while too.
Yes it did come with the new coil installed.

I'm not quite sure how it's termed but some liquids only work in certain tanks. Some are too dense and won't vaporise quickly enough.

The only difference between the old tank and the new one is the meshed coil.
I understand that some liquids are meant for lower powered vape pens etc.

Not had a problem with the old tank.
Normally vaping at around 65w.

Edit, my old tank is fine, you could be right about the liquid.
It does say any tank on the bottle.

Maybe these new ones are fussy about what liquid they take.

Try it at 80/85w and see how it goes.
