My size, liked the look of it as it's the sort of thing I've been after for a while. But that paint....!

Is it worth that money? Anyone know the maker?

Looks reasonable enough, not sure on the age but it does look like the mech hanger has been removed.

I remember finding a Bates frame in a skip at the tip, in the days when they let me climb in to get it....! No forks though, unfortunately, but still.

I love the fork elongated spears on the crown. Trouble is with this, you would never get those transfers again, so any repaint would have to somehow mask them off :?

What's the 'standard' rear spacing on something like this...?

I'm not sure that's rust, it looks brassy. I reckon there was a brazed on cable stop to complement the one on the down tubes that has either fallen off or been removed.

This, I think. It is mentioned in the listing.... bargaining tool, maybe...??

But I don't think it's usual to drill the tube for a cable stop...usually they are surface brazed.:?

My fear is that the stay has corroded very thin inside, then the boss has snapped off. Personally that makes £80 look on the dear side.
