try finding a panda 4x4 i read in practical classic that there are only a couple dozen left in britain, i think the estate 4x4 version there is literally one left on the road in britain.

Lada niva is a car i've always wanted too but the price seems to have gone up recently so i can't really justify buying one...let us know how it is, i think top gear rated it highly saying it was the only eastern block car that can really still hold its own.
A panda estate?, not seen one of them before.
There's at least three 4x4 pandas (older panda) around here in various states, I'd love one but not got the time for another project.
I think the NIVA is still made somewhere in the eastern block and I remember reading you can have them imported for about 11 grand, they are good, solid motors.

my russian friend was telling me about a russian version of the hummer that can be had for about 15k brand new, good luck passing european emissions tests with one of those though.

If you really want to turn heads get a golf 4x4 seen them in Germany in the 90's on the Mk3 body.

Um, I'm no VW expert, but isn't that a Mk2 Golf (body) in the picture?
