hi iam a full sus virgin realy lol, i know of a liquid 55 frame that needs work but wondering if this should be my first proper one, ( they say save it untill a special somone comes along lol ) any way are they any good? worth a go?

I had a 25 like the one below when they first came out. It was pretty good, if a little heavy. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the had a reputation for snapping but I think that had more to do with the type of drops that they were being used on.

The shocks were an 'odd' length that didn't use the full length of the piston and required a bit of setting up.

They didn't have a seat stay pivot but used the flex of the carbon stays instead so it may prove prudent to check the condition of the rear triangle of the frame in question.

Hope this helps.

The early ones (10, 20 & 30) had a tendency to snap at the weld just above the front mech. Had nothing to do with how you rode it, just bad design. Mine was one but was replaced swiftly under warranty. The replacement was heavily reinforced in this area. The 55 was a later model and should have the redesigned frame.
Nice frame to ride, if a bit heavy for the travel available.

Thanks chaps. I think this ones all alloy not to sure only got a quick look but will give it a good going over
