A little update, it all went pear shaped, we were all made redundant, we did manage to fight for and get our 3 months notice (paid up front in lieu). I effectively finished last friday.

I had one interview yesterday evening, and this morning I received an offer.

Today is a good day

The job is a 6 month (potentially on going) contract (they were pushing for full time on the books employee, but I was keen on contracting as it pays more.) The only downside is it is back in Oxfordshire, and with my loathing to leave London at the moment, it is going to be a hell of a commute...

Still a few more fingers in other pies, but its looking good!

Would your employer subsidise your commute?

If it was me I would get some digs up there, and sublet in London Mon-Fri, if it were a Mon-Fri gig of course!
