Having discovered my (C)Rank Bros headset is in fact as bad as i was lead to believe i am in the market for a replacement.
Standard 1"1/8 headset in black, silver or red.
Any amazing online deals out there???

I've bought a few of these from this seller and they are great. They don't come with any manufacturers packaging, so I guess they are oem, but at less than half the typical price I wouldn't be too upset about not having a small box to throw away. I suspect the stack height will be higher than your crank bros headset though.

I've had a cb headset on my cross bike for two (filthy) years and it's still going strong. Needs the occasional bit of cleaning and greasing, but it's a lovely compact design and was very cheap when I bought it.
