mike i have taken some very good photos with the light just right can you see the dents in ths first two photos? they are on the left side.

the two cracks have been there a long time they cant propogate anywhere because there are already through the web there is plenty of strength left in the corwn besides this part is replacable.

anyway this is why the frameset is priced as it is, quite cheap for a useable frame with no cracks in the headtube or bb area,

Oh that is really very pretty, I had the original grey Manitous and then got the Manitou 2s when they came out. If only I had £350.. :/

I can vouch for Cruds description of this frame, the tiny cracks in the rear crown are on the decorative spars, not the main part of the crown, they do not compromise the strength.

The Dents on the top tube are not immediately noticeable due to stickers.

As mentioned the repair on the stays is strong and has been done a while ago, if it was going to cause problems it would have done before now.

No cracks at all on the headtube or BB shell.

I had no worries at all about riding the bike in the time i had it, even down Spooky wood in Glentress

Very rare to find a useable/rideable complete Manitou FS frameset for sale, price Crud is asking is a lot less than what it cost me to put the frameset together as pictured (had to buy a scrap frame to get the front mech, seatcollar and seatpost and bought the CK headset brand new)

If it helps with the sale i can send the buyer a set of sound Manitou chainstays (the repaired section) for cost of postage.

I'd ride that.
My old Manitou had an almost identical dent, aswell as a weld on the BB.
