Andy Hampstens Giro d'Italia winning Moots

@haggis - Rod just posted the pic that I failed to post properly. That is one of the bikes Andy rode when he won the giro. You can see a pink jersey in the background.

Sweet. Went cheap. I wonder if it is the original gyro that he won or if they will have a Greek shop make up a new one.

I had been looking at this bike not that long ago. Glad to have it now!

I can see a few differences between those two frames , like the seatstays are attached quite differently to the seat lug, and the number holder positioning is very different compared to that decal, as well as the fork crown looks flat in one bike and sloping on the other .
Also the bar tape is different in both pictures and the rear brake cable runs on different sides of the head tube . edited and the serotta decal on the drive side stay of the "display" bike

what else did i miss ?

Rod's picture shows a Serotta-built team bike. It's generally understood that Hampsten's frame was built for him by John Slawta (Landshark):

All the pictures I've seen of Hampsten in the Giro show him on the Slawta frame, not the Serotta.

BP that's got to be more than you paid for most of your Cunny's. I take it looks better in person than in these pics? Looks rough to me. Obviously some neat things about the frame, i.e. dropouts, moots mounts, paint.
