Right! As promised, sum pix.

It's hard to see, but the difference in the spoke diameters front to back was silly.

So, with new double butted spokes fitted to the back, tensioned and trued, it was time to get some tyres on and see how it looked.

Splashback 1.8's were at hand, and look the part, so that's what it's wearing for now.

Next jobs are cassette, brakes, chain. Then cable it all up, set the saddle and bar end angles, pop some end plugs in the bars, fit the pedals and we should be good to go.

I have some identical black bar ends if you think they'd look better.

Bars are titanium finish X-Lite's.

The forks are fully extended after a rebuild, they'll settle. Plus, they are the forks it originally came with when Ringo and I rescued it from a house clearance company in Cheshire.

This is what it looked like then.

And now.

If you look at the fork brace, those forks should settle by an inch or so... at least I hope they do.
