AMP research full bike, splitting, IBC brakeset available.

Putting up for sale my amp research. AMP built these bike in three sizes and this is the bigger one. If somebody needs some meassurements just ask for it.

As per rules i must put a price so i´d say 800gbp OBO + shipping from Spain for the bike but reasonable offers will be welcome.

Not good times for buying MTB history so i have to split:

IBC brakes with XT gear levers available for 135gbp + shipment ONO REDUCED
Frame 200gbp plus shipment SOLD
Forks 100 gbp plus shipment SOLD
Saddle Marin Lite titanium 20gbp + shipment ONO (scuff on rear left)
Handlebar-stem titanium combo 35gbp SOLD

That front suspension is a work of art!

If I even had close to that sort of money I would buy it, however I've just spent £2.5k on a Transit van.. so will pass as I wish to avoid being beaten to death by my wife..

Sorry, but can someone's help me telling me what brakes are those ones or can you post a description of the bike components even to help you a little more with the sale?

I can see that is a stem/handlebar combo but not sure if it's titanium or Alu

moffyr72, you are true, i also think it is art, since i bought this bike i have been more time staring at it than riding, this is the main reason i´m selling it, i would never sell it if i had the place but the Mrs. wants it out of the living room, i can´t understand why. :roll:

Nuno, brakes are IBC hydraulic, each brake lever has shift a lever support in order to suport the XT rapid fire shift levers, stem and handlebar combo are titanium.

I wouldn´t like to separate the fork from the frame.
Only posible split would be brake set with gear levers as i have a set of Deore LX SLR levers with DX cantis that would look beautifull on this bike and make it lighter.
The XT gear levers that are on the bike right now are hanging from the IBC brake levers with a CNC support. I suposse that this support was supplied as OEM with IBC brakes.

how does the frame cope under braking with the hydraulic brakes? mine flexed a bit with V's on it and the oe brace! I have a set of maguras I quite fancy putting it when I finally build it up

The braces that it has don´t allow much movement, have tested right now and these ones are very strong.

Come on mates i would let it go for 850gbp,and still open to sensible offers, it is a unique bike, you won´t see many like it around here.
