I have just managed to get a pair of AMP F1 forks. anyone know how easy these are to service?

Dead easy if you have replacement bushes etc...

Just make sure you keep things in order when dismantling!!

The F1's are simple to service, though you will need a special tool (or home brew equivalent) to knock out the pivots (though I could be talking F3 here, the F1s may have been much easier to remove - I've done both recently).

Whist Amp do kits, I'm not sure they do any for an F1, but the F3 forks, as I bought some hoping them to be useable on both, but sadly not.

If they are still available for the F1, let me know, as I'd like one or two.

Real easy to do and Brion also can supply all the pressing tools which are essential for removal of bushes and dont cost too much.

You may find some of this of use?

Nice post HarryCrumb. Any chance you could send me that manual? I've got the FX3 version, but that one would be handy for the Mongoose.

BTW, the RTS will be on its way on Saturday - taking it apart tomorrow ready for posting.
