Am I to old for this sort of thing.......?

Some nice council folk funded a bmx/4x track over in leamington... early morning at the weekend in the summer there's no one there, I spent so much time playing I even built a little bike to go up there. Have to admit it's a modern Santa Cruz though... sorry.

Throwing in a few youthful few kerb jumps & wheelies is nothing!

In the eyes of most [cough] "adults" a bike is ALMOST a semi-respectable contraption.

At least for commuting to the train station or accompanying little Tarquin along the Sustrans path.

If you REALLY want to raise a few eyebrows, try blasting around your neighbourhood on a longboard... :D

Their loss...

Yeah - and Lush Longboards - used to run out of a mates cellar in Sheffield, out grew that, went through a couple of industrial units and now headed off south to Bath/bristol area.

It's easier to build your own deck than bike frame though...

I ran down the track to work yesterday whilst hop-skipping as fast and high as I could whilst singing the theme from the Banana Splits- no particular reason, it was a sunny day. I am 35 and 3 /4. I felt like a small child again, its amazing how fast it feels too. Go on try it next time no ones around- it's great!

Ah, Lush - Nice people. They just warranteed my bamboo Kilima after it went a bit saggy.

I just found out about the Cadwell Park DH and slalom meet this coming weekend. I might hire a car and go for a look... but it's threatening snow, apparently.

too old

I turned 60 last summer and I rode 275 days last year, including a sub 6 minute run down REPACK-not older, just a little slower.
