There's always that danger but not necessarily from that wheel.
Check the wear limits for the rim first and see how close it is to that. Those look mostly like stone rash.

Difficult to tell from pics, but if the rim surface is pretty plat, you'll be fine. Just looks like a couple of stone chips to me.

I did have a quick panic look for rims, there doesn’t seem to be much choice if ever a replacement is needed.
Anyway, no need for me to be worried.

Cheap eBay Iwanson guage to accurately measure rim wall thickness, read of under 1mm = not good!
