First proper off road ride today. This is the route that I had in mind when I built this bike up and it performed incredibly well.

Paul MiniMoto brakes are fantastic and the Lifeline tyres felt grippy and secure despite being commuter tyres.

I raised the bars about 15mm and it now feels perfect, just like my road bike but with much wider tyres. 41x16 gearing felt spot on as an alround ratio.

The more I ride it the more I love this bike. Gonna swap the stem for a 100mm Tange and fit some 46cm Soma compact bars now.

More miles in the wind today. Changed the gearing to 41x18 to hopefully tackle some hillier adventures later in the week.

Still can't believe how good this bike is, think it's the perfect 'do it all' bike. Gearing is now 41x19 and saddle 10mm higher, excellent climbing and fast & smooth when pointed down hill.

Still looking for a longer stem to go with some compact Soma bars I have in the garage.
