Still smashing the miles on her! Few changes and very happy! Still only a shaved head though

Carbon cranks
Thomson post
Flite
WCS stem
Bar tape

Fast ;)

Preferred the black seatpost, white saddle combo from an aesthetic point of view.

Nice to see you're getting out and putting in the miles, I must try to get out of the workshop and try that myself one of these days....

Randomly I snapped the carbon post. Not under any stress either. The Thomson was spare and on it went! The Flite is 100% comfier tooo :D

Genesis? I'm looking forward to the new Reynolds 953 road bike which their Roger Hammond-managed squad are supposed to be using for the 2013 season. Brave move bringing steel back into the domestic Elite peloton (Huw Pritchard beat a youthful Wiggo, no less, in the Lincoln Grand Prix riding a Condor 853 rig for Angliasport, but that was a decade ago....), hope they make a good go of it!

Rapha Condor have been dipping in and out of using steel frames for a couple of seasons now with their very nice (aka bordering on bike porn) Accacio: http://road.cc/content/news/68301-c...ion-new-baracchi-and-acciaio-stainless-frames

As you say good to see steel still stepping up to the mark and taking modern plastic bikes on.

Carbon seatposts can be a pain in the bum, no pun intended. I had loads of trouble with my pillar (no-name Campag Record lookalike) seizing in the seat tube, despite having heeded all the usual assembly advice (no grease, WD40 etc. as it encourages a stuck carbon post). :(

I'll be interested to see how you get on with the Genesis.

I was contemplating the titanium Equilibrium, but early reports say it is harsh and not as nice a ride as the 725 frame, so that's out the window.
