Anyone got any details on the time period for the canti version Altek brake levers? What year were they introduced?

i had done some searching and came up with this stunning 92 epic ultimate, and it had a set of these levers on it. so was curious if it was introduced that early.

i wouldn't say an ad in a magazine is a clear indication of when a product was first introduced to the market, which is what i was hoping to determine.

the reference on mombat is interesting in that they are called Altek Shark Fin levers. i was doing search by Altek canti/cantilever brake levers, as well as Altek BL-20:

Re:

They were called shark-fins because of the curved cable guide on the end of the brake lever that's exposed when you pull on the lever

I have a pair of these on a pro flex 856 scrap box build
Only fitted as they were period correct

I remember them being around the same time as real levers , but do think there was another name for them
