a few subtle hop-ups can only make things better. It's not like i'm suggesting Rebas and a 1x10 driveline
 
This may sound mad, but Evans do shock servicing and don't seemto have a restriction on age or brand. I was tempted to send them a nitrogen charged Noleen shock to see how that went down but as it was sound didn't want to risk it. Might be worth a look for the price?

Just to let you know this isn't a resto. i bought the bike New in 95 and i still like to use it embarass people riding the latest multi thousand pound bikes at trail centres. :lol:
