Hi all can anyone tell me if alpinestars ever did a mtb called cr500 and if they are any good.

Quality is good. It's a '95, would have been built with an XT/LX mix. I've got a CR-400 (in blue) buried somewhere in the shed. The CR-400 is the STX RC version - there was a CR-300 on eBay last week, which is the standard STX version: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALPINESTARS-C ... 0777484749

OOPS sorry i'm late
not had much to do with these later ones ,tho i do have an asr 300 in the shed , an alloy frame from this time
i'm looking for one of the 96 ish ones with the kinked rear seat stays tho

might just be the photo ,but it looks very steep in the angles dunnit ?
get it built then
