Alpinestars Cromega LX 1992 for sale - upgraded with retro bling - £220.
All original Shimano Exage components and saddle included as shown in photo.
I built this up as a retro bike project but a back injury forces sale.
• Selle Italia Flite saddle (from early 90's)
• Shimano XT short cage rear mech (with 90's Bullseye purple jockey wheels)
• New XTR cables
• L and M cranks (rare 90's cranks) with new polished Shimano chainrings
• New 7 speed cassette and chain
• New Charge splashback tyres (wanted tyres with tan side walls)
• Original wheels - Ritchey Vantage rims built on Shimano hubs (Exage?)
• Magnesium Cantilever brakes (taken off one of Tim Davies' race bikes)
• New brake pads
• Ringle quick release skewers (wheel and seat clamp from early 90's)
• Original Alpinestars bars, stem and seatpost
• XT gear shifters and brake levers
• Purple bottle cage, bolts and valve caps
• New Ritchey grips
Bike is in perfect working order and a real head turner. Some minor chips to the paintwork expected for its age - these have been covered with Retrobike stickers as shown in the photos These could be easily touched up. No cracks or dents.
