Kona is fine and hibernating in the shed all cozy 
Problem is its an 18" frame which is a little too small, its not retro and it requires a lot of 29er components I do not have nor can afford.
Dilema !!!
Either going to get it built one day or lend it to someone who is prepared to build it up or give it away at SSUK09 as a prize, 'Most knobbly Knees' category probably. Not allowed to sell it unless I do it covertly or the SSUK08 organisers will hunt me down and get me (they are against financial gain from prizes they give away :roll: ).
Could use it as a prize if we ever organize a MacRetro comp of whatever kind !
Now what sort of spec do you think the Alpinestars should have in both geared and SS spec. Suggestions please
