great bike - one for the taller gentleman. would be way to big for me - besides that, I allready have a 8000 in blue with gold decals

but I agree, that frame is bone shacking stiff - front sus will make it softer and a MAG 2x will also not alter the geometry. But it will be a difficult task to find yourself a fork with a matching steerer lenght, unless you are going to fit a new steerer.

ok. Here are some pics. It is a little bit dirty from the commute. Mostly original except for a different seat, a trek rear bike rack, a bell, water bottle cages, handle bar extensions and one of two rear panniers. The chain is stretched from years of use and I'm about to replace the chain rings, rear cogs, chain, and wheels.
