Alloy Campagnolo Record - 10 speed ergo levers

Hi,

Looking for a set of these Campag Record levers in 10 speed and have to be alloy.

Record levers were only made in that style for one year - 1998 - and they were 9-speed. For 1999 Record went to carbon lever blades.

I'm a little rusty on this stuff now, but I think they also had unique internals that year, and can't be readily upgraded to 10-speed. See here for example:

I did see a set of 10 speed Record ergo levers on eBay in Germany recently, maybe they were a set from 1998?

They certainly look like 1998 levers, and 10-speed didn't arrive until 2000. That could mean one of two things: they've been modified (and I was wrong in what I wrote above) or they're not really 10-speed.

Yes they were the levers. Maybe they had been converted as you mentioned.

I spotted a set of Chorus 10 speed ergo's but are way over my budget.
