Adding a pic of my recently "finished" Cove G Spot FR
I say finished... the 5th Element doesn't hold any air so I need to strip that down and try and rebuild it DIY style... or just replace it. I've asked a couple of places if they can rebuild it and nobody is willing due to the age.
Here's an unusual one, a 1988 CBS custom built for the Calgary Olympics, one of three, which I got from Gay Wise, co-founder of CBS. It has a custom one-piece stem\bar, 6 speed XT bits and the paint was done by Gay herself. I gave this bike to my wife for her birthday.
I’ll be back in Montreal next month, as well as a stopover in Toronto (potentially Quebec City too). Any recommendations for bike shops/local beers/flea markets etc very much appreciated.
Here is a Kula I spotted whilst out on a ride at the weekend - the original owner was out on a Father’s Day ride with his adult son. It made me feel old.
Not exactly in Toronto, but Guelph (93 km away) has a cool shop https://www.backpeddling.com/
