All things Canadian.....

Here's a small bit of Canadiana

Oh man, my first real bike was a BRC. It was a beautiful metallic red Mustang bike with bananas seat, tall sissy bar, Highrise handlebars, light, horn, red line tiger paw tires, and 3 speed stick shift. I can still see and remember my dad bringing it home in his VW beetle 🥰 It was the talk of the town, and everybody wanted to ride it. It got stolen 3 times, sadly the last time it was never recovered. Thanks for the memories!

Seeing the posting a couple pages back about the Arvon hubs reminded me I had some photos of a complete bike from local co-op in town. They also have an Arvon tandem hanging up that I don't believe I have a pic for.

Wow that's something special. I am impressed that they made their own hubs. I also love that they included their postal code on the head tube sticker. So Canadian it hurts. I'm curious about the aluminum (?) sleeve on the top tube. What is that about?
