Ah well, if the worst comes to the worst, at least there should be a couple of good derby fixtures against my team (Wolves) next season. Be a bit galling if Blues go up at the same time as Wolves and Villa are on the way down, though. As it if wasn't bad enough that a certain bunch of ratty old Tesco bags are on course for mid-table Premier League respectability.

I think the criticism of Eck is warranted against his style of play & choice of Player Targets when he was given money, but FFS! What was Lerner thinking in appointing him in the first place??? It was never going to work...

Saw last half hour of today's game & again we were lucky not to get punished. Shay Given has earnt his 'Quality' Tag this season with us...some of the Younger players have stepped right up, but we need some senior quality & a week in week out goalscorer. Something that's been missing for many seasons now...

Wigan, once again spoiled the party & another game down we're 2 points closer...need a win against Tottenham or Norwich now...Squeaky Bum time...

Very much squeaky bum time. N-zogbia hasn't really lived up to expectations and Bent has spent a while injured. And don't get me started on Heskey!

Really hope we can hang on in there. It's a far throw from the top half finishes we've had the past few seasons.
