Aldi special buys

A cycling compression underwear set!?! Despite myself, I had to see what it is but I'm still none the wiser! Think I will get a 4Gb USB/card reader though if I see a store on my travels. Ta for the link.

If anyone does know what a compression set is for, I have decided I really don't need to know.

What is Compression Clothing?

There are a few different technologies available in our Compression Clothing shop, but the basis behind them all is that muscles are designed to work in a linear fashion, up and down, left to right and so on. But, when we participate in sport, they move around a lot more through knocks and vibration, losing some energy in the process. Compression Clothing keeps the muscle in its best position to ensure more of the energy the muscle expells is in the right direction.

I dare say olympic swimsuits do it, I'm dubious whether Aldi gear does.
Still it might be a cheap base layer.

I know some people use compression tights after long runs and they feel they help not feel so sore the next day.

I use a compression top as a nice thin base layer and seem to help wick sweat away and keep a good core temp

The only down side is they are all bloody hard to escape from when you are knacked :? :?

I use 'skins' compression stuff when I'm playing football and it helps me compete with the youngsters a bit..... Well, I feel as though it does!
It makes me ache less though, for sure , and mine are a lot more dollar than these..... For a tenner, they are worth a shot I think....

Just got some gloves and the cycling shirt from Aldi. All the clothing range are made by Crane Bike whoever they are. Never heard of them :?:

Have to say the quality of the gloves with gel padding and shirt with Coolmax fabric are really good. I think for the price you can't go wrong. :D
