Alconbury mega epic aftermath thread

I think we got lucky with the weather yesterday, its done nothing but rain/drizzle/rain/drizzle/wet/wet/wet here today........ :(

My arms are tingling a bit still and I have a lovely proper cyclists suntan now with a nice crisp cut-off from tanned to white on my arms. I did slap on the factor 50 beforehand but probably sweated most of it out during the ride.

We must make this an annual event. The Alconbury midnight growlers death march

Thanks LGF for an excellent day's cycling, its always good to ride somewhere new even if there is the odd gate or two to negotiate! It was a good laugh, and we certainly didn't take it seriously.

A bit saddle sore by the end, but mainly just from the length of time on the bike rather than the distance, though riding along the fault lines won't have helped. Glad I slapped on the factor 30, no sunburn but the cycling tan lines are now more well defined...

I am the colour of Digestive biscuits.

Thanks again to all who turned up!
