Al Carter Carbon County

I saved the pics to my phone and zoomed in. I think they're drilled out holes in the rims!
Not seen that before! What a lot of work compared to just buying lighter wheels. I wonder if the bike originally had some higher grade components. I guess with the carbon you’ve got to go for ultimate lightness even if you might “brake” through!

Nuts! I bought this bike today for somewhat more than £70. Still happy though. Just in the process of obtaining period and colour correct parts for it. The blue does pop nicely but these parts may adorn the blue Pinto Creek model that I bought last week for £25. :)
Does anyone have pics or information re the Carbon County? TIA
