Airborne Serial number dating?

Does anyone know a place where I can find out the age of my recently aquired Airborne Lancaster?

The guy I bought it from said it was a 2007 but I thought they went to the wall before that? It really doesn't bother me as I love it, but I think it is earlier....which makes it more retro

I was looking for a serial number database or the 'code' for the numbering??

I have a feeling that it's not really a retro brand or bike (2007) so no one is that bothered. I thouht that airborne became van nicolas or something.

got a Lancaster myself (love it) which I was told was a 2003. Will check out the serial no later to see if a theme emerges.

I thought airborne were defuncy before 2007.

Surely there atre enough pics on the net to have a reasonable guess at vintage.

You would have thought so, but its not that easy as they didn't really seem to change!
