.....also have an issue i need advice with; are cramic rims-ceramic pads notoriously sh-t in cold/freezing conditions? Set up perfectly...been perfect...but both brakes full on as hard as i could, but no slowing down at all!!!!!!!!!!!! pretty sketchy to say the least.
Frozen rims...?...pads?...pads too hard in the sub-zero temps? i dunno....

 Modern bikes............sorry! My Santa Cruz is 1999, so not soooooooo bad!
Have to agree re. mates carbon Trek.
Snow is fun......i used Panaracer Rampage tyres....ri ch had Maxxis Larsens.....both worked really well.

Took 3 hours for the Wall tho....lots of pushing uphills!!!!! Ha Ha!

So worth it for the experience of no one else and a ball blasting the ice and snow d'hills.

......getting ready for a pint of Speckled Hen now and roast dinner...yum!
