Look at someone like Parcel2go Senditnow Hermes etc
don't go direct to Parcelforce.
Give them the dimensions and weight etc and they will give you a quote.
Collection and delivery.
Easy

ta very much
just found out the bloke is only 30 miles away so may deliver instead

 yup, i would
Me too..

Having sent (on separate occasions) 2 wheels, 1 frame and most recently a whole bike.. I'd rather have driven a 60-mile round trip and alleviated the stress involved.

I used to use parcel2go.com but a recent good service from senditnow.com has swayed future business that way for bikes and other large stuff.. subject to finding out that it got there ok.....

Packing them is still an effing nightmare though

for full bikes or big items , drive to the back of local halfords or LBS and pick up bike box , nice and easy .

yeah the local bike shop is very good and has a box for me
i got all the packing stuff from work so
sending should be easy peasy

1st post whoop, whoop.

When posting frames only how do you send them? Bubble wrap and make your own box?

Don't want to send it in a bike box with loads of air!!!
