In the buyers defense, I get stuff sent to my work address all the time. the reason is simply because that's where I am during working hours, which is obviously when parcels are delivered. Whenever I get stuff sent to my home address I always end up either having to make a trip to the sorting office if it's Royal Mail or trying to arrange redelivery from a courier who tried to deliver when I was out, and they invariably won't allow you to give an alternative address for redelivery, so you end up having to take a day off work just because of a parcel. PITA quite frankly.
If it were me I would get a phone number and speak to the buyer directly. You can usually get a reasonable sense of who your dealing with and you can be honest and explain your concerns and see what they say. You might be able to come to an amicable arrangement.
Everyone has to start somewhere so whilst it always pays to be cautious I certainly wouldn't assume there's anything dodgy about getting stuff sent to a work address. Unless their work address happens to be in Nigeria or somewhere similar
