So that is 400 euro for an old, probably Tw made, alu frame. That is no good value.

Well, I do not know exactly. Never saw one live also. Though I do not perceive them as very high end. A bit in the same league as later AlMegas. Characteristic mass production frame of good (but nothing special) quality.

Bikepedia says it is made with Easton tubing =>

It came with full XTR, XC500 and wasn't a cheapy at $3200. Looks like the same frame was used for MT700R that costed less than half that amount.
